When an XR11 experiences an unexpected reboot due to a brownout power condition, the system inventory may fail to properly detect network adapters. As a result, operating systems may also not detect these network adapters. This issue is not limited to any specific network adapter or any specific operating system. Symptoms for this issue include: Network adapters missing Model information missing MAC addresses missing The following examples are from an XR11 with an Embedded LAN On Motherboard (LOM) and a network adapter in slot 2. The below screenshots are from a SupportAssist Collection and Technical Support Report (TSR). Figure 1: Model information is missing. Figure 2: Embedded LOM is missing.

The issue is resolved with CPLD v1.1.5 firmware update, which will be available in mid to late October 2024. Dell Technologies Engineering advises the following workaround: Warm or Cold reboot remediates this issue
