The following Dell monitors can be seen to flicker when connecting to Mac products. This is only happening when the monitor connects to a Mac product, such as a laptop or desktop device. Affected Products: Dell U2722D Dell U2722DE Dell U2722DX
The Mac settings are causing a compatibility issue with the monitors.
Resolve this by turning the True Tone setting off on the Mac device. The following instructions are to turn True Tone off: Go to the Mac device and open System Preferences . Select Displays . Ensure that the checkbox next to the True Tone option is empty. Turn off the Dell Monitor. Wait for a minimum of two hours after disabling the True Tone option before turning the Dell monitor on.
