To download and install the latest camera driver, follow the steps mentioned below. Note: You must have administrator rights on the faulty laptop to make any operating system changes or update any software. Warning: Downloading and installing Dell-developed drivers or software from third-party or unknown sources can cause the laptop or device not to work correctly. It can cause the laptop to crash or not boot into the operating system. In some rare instances it can infect the laptop with viruses, trojans, or other malicious software. Browse to the Latitude 9440 2-in-1 laptop Drivers & Downloads page. Select the Operating System that is running on your laptop. Under Category, select Camera. Locate the latest Intel 2D Imaging, MCU, Visual Sensing Controller driver for Camera. (Version 73.22000.1.21, A05 or newer.) Click Download and save the file to your laptop. Open File Explorer and browse to the download folder where it saves the downloaded file. Double-click the downloaded camera setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. The laptop restarts as part of the driver install. Go back to the online drivers page. Under Category, select Video. Locate the latest Intel Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) Graphics Driver and Intel Graphics Command Center Application driver. (Version 31.0.101.4575, A03 or newer.) Click Download and save the file to your laptop. Open File Explorer and browse to the download folder where it saves the downloaded file. Double-click the downloaded graphics setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. The laptop restarts as part of the driver install. Recover the laptop from the shutter issue: Launch the Camera application: Click the Start Menu icon and type Camera. Go down and click Open on the search results that appear on-screen.
