NetWorker is deployed on a Red Hat pacemaker (pcs) High Availability cluster.After upgrading NetWorker to 19.7.0.0->19.7.0.3 or 19.8.0.0->19.8.0.3. lcmap sees the virtual resource using the IP: root@NWrhelNode1:~# lcmap type: NSR_CLU_TYPE; clu_type: NSR_LC_TYPE; interface version: 1.0; type: NSR_CLU_VIRTHOST; hostname: 192.168.25.30; local: TRUE; owned paths: /nsr_share; Code changes were introduced in 19.7.0.x which resulted in this issue. NetWorker processes are unable to correlate the virtual IP address to the virtual hostname NetWorker is using. nsrexecd fails to connect to the portmapper on the active node.
NOTE: NetWorker 19.7 is End of Support Life (EOSL) as of 2025-06-30. NetWorker code changes were made to fix this issue.
