Precision 7865 with Qualcomm WCN6856-DBS wireless network adapter may not wake up from suspend (S3), hibernate (S4), or hybrid sleep modes by WOL magic packet tool through WLAN in Windows 11.
Windows 11 driver is a CX driver that is different from a Windows 10 WDI driver. A CX driver is a new architecture proposed by Microsoft. There are compatibility issues between BIOS and driver, and the operating system with this new architecture.
Per Microsoft documents, WoWLAN with magic packet from hibernate (WiFiCx based) was not in the plan for Windows 11 2022 (SV2). It is recommended to wake the computer using onboard LAN or AIC network adapter instead of a WLAN network adapter.
