Replication jobs do not start or get queued. When trying to run replication manually, the following error is received: Description: Failed to initiate replication because no proxy was found to service the job Remedy: Check if there is an activated and registered replicator client The avagent log (/usr/local/avamar/var/client/avagent.log) is not up to date, and the last entries were prior to the server upgrade. If the certificates were renewed, the log reports issues about the older certificate expiry date.
Further investigation is required to determine the cause, but the initial investigation indicates that the avagent service was not restarted properly during or after the workflow. If renewing certificates, the avagent tries to use the old certificates until the agent is restarted.
Restart the avagent service and try again: Log in to the Avamar Utility Node as admin and switch to root user: su - Restart the avagent service: service avagent restart Confirm that avagent is running: service avagent status Review the avagent log and verify that it is updating: ls -lthr /usr/local/avamar/var/client/avagent.log Run the replication again.
