Symptoms
The issue is observed in the CLI method alone where repository creation fails with authentication failure errors.
Example:
drm -cr -r=r540-5 -ih=idrac_IP -it=idrac --authentication="idracuser:drm!)"
“The provided authentication is invalid. Invalid command options”
Repository creation using GUI method using the same special characters does work.
Cause
Engineering is aware of the issue, and a fix will be attempted in a future release of DRM.
Resolution
DRM CLI 3.3.1 supports the following special characters in the CLI method "_ @ # $ % &"
As a work-around, you could use only supported characters in the iDRAC password or use the GUI method to create the iDRAC integration repository.Future release may include fix.
