When PowerStore encounters an issue, an error alert is generated to help identify the issue. This article explains the different possible causes and the relevant remediation for these error alerts.

Alert ID NDU_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_STATUS_AVAILABLE_CRITICAL NDU_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_STATUS_AVAILABLE_MAJOR NDU_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_STATUS_AVAILABLE_MINOR NDU_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_STATUS_AVAILABLE_INFO Alert Text A critical software update package %(ndu_software_package_name) is available for download. A major software update package %(ndu_software_package_name) is available for download. A minor software update package %(ndu_software_package_name) is available for download. A software update package %(ndu_software_package_name) is available for download. Error Code (0x01500201), (0x01500202), (0x01500203), (0x01500204) Description These alerts are raised when a software update package is available for download. The severity of the alert indicates the importance of updating to the new software package or the severity of the issues the package addresses. The software package may be a full PowerStoreOS package or may be a smaller "thin package." Resolution Access the Drivers & Downloads section within Dell Support pages to download PowerStore software packages. If the software package is a Health Check package, the package must be uploaded to the PowerStore, if automatic upload is not enabled, and then installed by the user using the Upgrade button in the Upgrade window.
