After upgrading to Windows 10 version 1709, the Avamar Administrator shows garbled, unreadable text.
The issue is " ClearType ", which is enabled by default in Windows 10 version 1709. (Other elements required to re-create this issue are currently unknown.)
The workaround is to disable Cleartype : 1. From the Windows Start menu, type " ClearType " and select " Adjust ClearType text " 2. Clear " Turn on ClearType ". 3. Adjust settings on all connected monitors and click " Finish" . 4. Restart Avamar AdminiAvarstrator UI. Note: Sometimes a Windows restart is required to bring the changes into effect.
