Version 17.12.6a EWC mode
No workaround so far
After upgrading to 17.12.6a, the EWC on the Catalyst 9130 AP starts generating continuous critical syslogs from the dmiauthd process related to CONFD subscription failures. The error shows that the system is trying to subscribe to a YANG path that is invalid or no longer present. This happens even though there are no active NETCONF/YANG sessions, no telemetry subscriptions, and no external management clients connected. CLI outputs confirm that NETCONF services are idle, but the internal subscription attempts continue. The issue starts automatically after the upgrade and does not recover on its own. This looks like a regression introduced in 17.12.6a related to YANG model handling or internal subscription initialization. show netconf-yang statistics netconf-start-time : NOEXISTS in-rpcs : 0 in-bad-rpcs : 0 out-rpc-errors : 0 out-notifications : 0 in-sessions : 0 dropped-sessions : 0 in-bad-hellos : 0
