Symptom

An IOS-XE device may experience an unexpected reload in the "DBAL EVENTS" process if a telemetry subscription triggers a GET operation for CTS (Cisco TrustSec) env-data before data is actually populated from TrustSec, leading to an attempt to access an uninitialized pointer and encounter a segmentation fault. Conditions

- Initially seen on a Catalyst 9000 series Switch but other IOS-XE based devices may be impacted. - Telemetry and TrustSec configured

Workaround

Disable NETCONF and/or telemetry subscription config to avoid performing GET requests for CTS env-data.
