There is no workaround known at this time.
If the Golden EPLD upgrade is not supported or is not required, the software should print a CLI message, "Golden upgrade not supported" or "Golden upgrade not required". The device should not crash. Please refer to the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series FPGA/EPLD Upgrade Release Notes.
