Release-note
Running "show ethernet cfm local meps [verbose]" takes tens of seconds to complete. The same requests via SNMP or netconf may also hit this issue. If the show command and SNMP/netconf requests are happening concurrently, then the show command may fail repeatedly with error: 'An operational data request for local or peer MEP data is already in progress. Please try again in a few moments.'.
The device must have any number of offloaded (dependent on CCM interval and platform), missing cross-check MEPs. The cross-check must not have a MAC address specified in the configuration. The corresponding local MEP must have received CCMs from the cross-check before the cross-check went down. If there is one such cross-check then the show command may take five seconds to complete. The higher the number of offloaded, missing cross-checks, the longer the show command may take to complete.
Run "clear ethernet cfm local meps ...", which will reset the number of CCMs received from the cross-check to zero. Alternatively, remove the cross-check configuration if it is expected that the peer MEP is down.
This issue does not affect CFM running on the device. CCMs will still be sent regularly as configured and the show command, once complete, will return correct values to the user.
