Symptom

Receiving "Unknown NAD" and "Misconfigured Network Device Detected" Alarms. These alarms have the ISE server Names as if ISE was the misconfigured NAS. This defect is not service impacting.

Conditions

If you have a non-registered network device sending RADIUS to traffic to ISE you will see the alarm. ISE server name specifies the server getting the request.

Workaround

configure the network device in ISE network devices. block the RADIUS traffic from the unknown network device.
