Symptom

A Catalyst 9000 series switch running IOS-XE software may experience an unexpected reset due to a critical process fed fault. The following may be seen in the 'show version' output as a result: System returned to ROM by Critical process fed fault on fp_0_0 (rc=139) at XX:XX:XX XXX XXX XXX XX XXXX Last reload reason: Critical process fed fault on fp_0_0 (rc=139)

Conditions

The issue is most commonly seen in a scaled setup with Access Lists configured and may be more common when changes are taking place. The issue is seen with cat9200 with scaled webauth sessions.But the fix is in common policy code, can be seen in other cat9k platform.
