Symptom
FEX N2K-C2248TP-E-1GE with a Nexus 5000 parent switch is intermittently dropping a small number of multicast packets during IGMP updates coming to the parent switch.
Conditions
The issue happens only during IGMP update the parent Nexus switch. In particular, it is seen when parent Nexus 5K receives IGMP leave report from a host connected to a different FEX.
Workaround
Reducing overall IGMP reports rate will reduce the frequency of the drops.
