Symptom
ISE Messaging service generates queue link error alarms with the reason "basic_cancel"
The reason for this error showing up is usually when there has been a node promotion, there are residual links from old PAN to the rest of the deployment which are sometimes not cleaned up on promotion.
There should be no impact to functionality as a result of this specific bug.
Conditions
- Trust chain for ISE Messaging Service certificate on the nodes is good (Certificate will show a message indicating certificate status is good)
- No connectivity issues between nodes i.e port TCP 8671 is open
- If certificate chains are incomplete or not formed, this defect is not applicable.
