BGP IPv6 Link Local control-plane traffic does not match the Access Control List for bgp6 inside the critical COPP class Instead, it matches the default class which can lead to drops and corresponding TCP retransmission (latency)
Nexus 9000 CloudScale BGP neighbor(s) with Link Local IPv6 - LLA IPv6 addressing is defined as an address within prefix FE80::/10
There is no workaround for this.
The fix for this defect requires the carving of the ing-sup TCAM region to a size > 512 (e.g. 768). Since the full TCAM is allocated by default, this means reducing another region and allocating it to ing-sup. After saving, a reload is required for the new TCAM allocation to take effect. For TCAM carving, please refer to the Nexus 9000 TCAM Carving document - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/nexus-9000-series-switches/119032-nexus9k-tcam-00.html
