Symptom
Silent crash seen on various IOS-XE devices running 16.6.x release image. Silent crash implies a crash where no core file or crashinfo file gets generated. Other versions may have the same issue.
It was observed that the last reload reason after such a crash is similar to the below, important point being the return code of 0 or 154 i.e rc=0 or rc=154
Last reload reason: Critical process smand fault on rp_0_0 (rc=0)
or similar errors such as, but not limited to:
Last reload reason: Critical process cpp_sp_svr fault on fp_0_0 (rc=154)
Conditions
The issue is most likely to be hit when the system is facing CPUHOG and WATCHDOG conditions.

no workaround. code fix is available starting in 16.6.5 onwards

This bug is for Everest-16.6.x release specific. It's not applicable to other releases.
