Symptom

Upon successful link retrain, under certain corner case traffic doesn't resume for an LC. RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Aug 9 19:22:02.903 : FABMGR[229]: %PLATFORM-FABMGR-5-FABRIC_TRANSIENT_FAULT : Fabric backplane crossbar link underwent link retraining to recover from a transient error: Physical slot 10 RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Aug 9 19:22:03.108 : FABMGR[229]: %PLATFORM-FABMGR-5-FABRIC_TRANSIENT_FAULT : Fabric backplane crossbar link underwent link retraining to recover from a transient error: Physical slot 10 RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Aug 9 19:22:03.295 : FABMGR[229]: %PLATFORM-FABMGR-5-FABRIC_TRANSIENT_FAULT : Fabric backplane crossbar link underwent link retraining to recover from a transient error: Physical slot 0 RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Aug 9 19:22:04.321 : FABMGR[229]: %PLATFORM-FABMGR-5-FABRIC_TRANSIENT_FAULT : Fabric backplane crossbar link underwent link retraining to recover from a transient error: Physical slot 7

Conditions

This will only happen if there was a link retrain event due to a hardware fault similar to messages below and the card involved in retrain is a SFC2 and/or Tomahawk LC.
