Overview
IMPORTANT:
Power OFF the Machine and Disconnect it From the Wall Outlet before starting the procedure.
Warning
: If the printer is laid on its side, toner contamination may occur
To minimize contamination, cover the print cartridge tray before inspecting the rollers.
Cleaning or Removing the Pick Tires
:
Power Off the machine and disconnect it from the wall outlet
Open the print cartridge tray by opening the front cover and pulling the tray out using the green handle
Place a white piece of paper over the top of the print cartridges.
Close the print cartridge tray by pressing in on the green handle until secured
Close the front cover.
Remove the paper tray from the machine.
Rotate the machine so it is flat on its left side while remaining stable
The bottom of the machine should be visible
The pick tires/feed assembly can be pulled away from the machine for easier access.
Using a clean cloth moistened with water, wipe the rollers of any paper debris that has accumulated
Replace the pick tires if necessary.
Connect the machine to the wall outlet and power it back On.
