Note:
Before solving the problem, print the Print Quality Test Pages
From the control panel, navigate to
Settings > Troubleshooting > Print Quality Test Pages
For non-touch-screen printer models, press
OK
to navigate through the settings.
Check if the printer is using a genuine and supported Xerox toner cartridge
If the cartridge is not supported, then install a supported one.
Print the document.
Check the printer for leaked toner contamination.
If the problem persists, continue to the next step.
Check the status of the imaging unit
From the control panel, navigate to:
Settings > Reports > Device > Device Statistics
.
From the Supply Information section of the pages printed, check the status of the imaging unit.
If the toner cartridge is near end of life, continue to the next step.
Replace the imaging unit.
Print the document.
If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
