Overview
In order to default PDFs to black and white in Windows 10 OS you must default PDFs to open in Adobe and then, default the driver to print in Black and White.
Open
Settings
in Windows 10.
Select
Apps
.
Select
Default Apps
.
Select
Choose default apps by file type
.
Scroll down to find .pdf.
Select the button on the right.
Select
Adobe
from list to set as the new default for PDFs.
Close screens until back to
Settings Home Screen
.
Select
Devices and Printers.
Select the driver of your printer.
Select
Printer Properties
.
Select
Image Options
.
Select
Xerox Black and White Conversion
.
Select
Apply
.
Select
OK
.
Close
Printer Properties
.
Close
Settings
