Stripes or Banding on Copies and Prints occur on the page perpendicularly from the paper transport direction (either horizontally or vertically) and tend to be most visible on solid backgrounds or solid areas These generally occur when the machine is not positioned correctly on a level surface, if there is debris or contamination on the print cartridge or lenses, using the incorrect paper tray settings or by using paper not designed for the machine. Printer Must be on a Solid, Level, and Flat Surface Paper and Paper Tray Specifications Clean the Print Head Reseat the Print Cartridge Perform a Software Reset on the Printer Power Printer Down, Disconnect Power Cord for 2 Minutes, then Power On Replace the Print Cartridge This Problem Requires Additional Assistance Contact Support
