Overview
Modify/Change Faulty WSD (Web Service Device) Port for Windows 7/8/10
Go to the Control Panel.
Look for
Devices and Printers
or
View Devices and Printers
.
Press right click on the printer driver of your printer then select
Printer Properties
.
Go to
Ports
tab.
Select
Add Port.
Select
Standard TCP/IP Port
then click the button for
New Port
.
Click
Next
on Installation Wizard.
Enter the IPv4 Address or the HOSTNAME of the printer in the textbox
Once done, click
Next
.
Then click
Finish
It should automatically choose the recently added port as the default port in the list of ports.
Restart the computer and test the printing.
