017-714
occurs when the device is unable to Communicate with the SMTP server using SSL, TLS or STARTTLS Encryption.
Configure Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) (Set Up Scan to Email) Using the Embedded Web Server.
Set Allow Less Secure Apps to ON when Scanning to Gmail.
Configure the SMTP Port and Encryption Settings via the Embedded Web Server.
Enable SMTP Authentication for Email via the Embedded Web Server.
Set the Date and Time.
Configure DNS Settings Using the Embedded Web Server.
Set IPv6 DNS Server to Manual Entry Using Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).
Power the Printer On or Off.
Update the Printer's Software (Firmware).
