WARNING: When you remove jammed paper, ensure that no pieces of jammed paper are left in the printer A piece of paper that remains in the printer can cause a fire If a piece of paper is stuck in a hidden area, or paper is wrapped around the fuser unit or rollers, do not remove the paper forcefully To prevent injury, power off the printer immediately, then contact Xerox Technical Customer Support. Warning: Never touch a labeled area found on the fuser unit or nearby that indicates High Temperature and Caution Contact can lead to burns. Check for paper in the paper path/registration sensor. Before you open the front cover, ensure that the machine has stopped printing. Rotate the green lever at the center of the transfer module to the right, until it is in the horizontal position Pull out the transfer module to the end. Move lever 3b on the right of the fuser unit as necessary, then remove the jammed paper. Insert the transfer module completely, then rotate the green lever 2 to the left. Note: If the lever cannot be turned, pull out the transfer module to the middle, then insert it again. Close the front cover completely If the front cover is open even slightly, the machine does not operate. If clearing the paper path does not clear the fault code, Power the Printer Off and On.
