Note: If the staple cartridge detaches accidentally from the holder, refer to Reinsert the Basic Staple Cartridge. Note: Before performing this procedure, ensure that the printer is not printing. Note: After you remove the staple cartridge unit, check the inside of the finisher for any remaining staples. Open the finisher front cover Pull out R1 , then remove the staple cartridge unit from the printer. Note: After you remove the staple cartridge unit, check the inside of the finisher for any remaining staples. Open the staple cartridge unit cover, then remove the jammed staples. DANGER: To avoid personal injury, use care when you remove jammed staples. Reinsert the staple cartridge unit to the original position in the printer. Close the finisher front cover.
