Install the Launch DLM Recovery Patch (LDRP) NOTE : A System / Network Administrator should perform this solution as it requires knowledge of the network configuration. If the software / firmware upgrade fails, a popup message will display on the computer. To resolve the issue, the Launch DLM Recovery Patch needs to be installed. To install the patch: Click Close on the popup message. Download the Launch DLM Recovery Patch to the device. Click on the yellow triangle that indicated the upgrade failed. The triangle is in the upper right corner of the software upgrade utility under the Step 3: Upgrade header. Click on the Download the repair file link in the Upgrade Info window. When the website displays, click Accept . Save the zip file to the desktop in the same directory that contains the software upgrade tool (ckupgrade-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.jar). The tool requires it to reside in the same directory. Do not unzip the downloaded file . Click on the yellow triangle that indicated the upgrade failed. The triangle is in the upper right corner of the software upgrade utility under the Step 3: Upgrade header. Click on the Download the repair file link in the Upgrade Info window. When the website displays, click Accept . Save the zip file to the desktop in the same directory that contains the software upgrade tool (ckupgrade-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.jar). The tool requires it to reside in the same directory. Do not unzip the downloaded file . When the file is downloaded to the directory, click on Retry Upgrade in the Upgrade Info window. The upgrade will then install both the recovery patch and the software upgrade The status of the upgrade will first show that it is loading a LDRPxxxxxV1 file, then that it is loading the software upgrade file.
