If the vSphere Lifecycle Manager database in your environment is reset before upgrading vCenter from versions 8.0 Update 3 and later or 9.0.x to 9.1.0 or 9.1.1, the upgrade might cause data loss in the Supervisor. To avoid data loss, before a vCenter upgrade, you must first check your environment and take mitigation steps, if necessary.
See Broadcom knowledge base article 455737 for instructions how to check if your environment is affected and for mitigation steps.
