If a newer Guest OS, such as Windows 2019, is installed on a VM with virtual hardware version earlier than 17, scheduling or scanning for VMware Tools upgrade or VM Hardware Compatibility fails. In the vSphere Client, you see the error Operation is not supported on the object . This issue is resolved in this release.
