When you mount a vSAN datastore from another vCenter instance, the precheck fails if the parent datacenter of the vSAN datastore is in a custom folder instead of the inventory root folder. The vSAN service expects a specific hierarchical path to validate the remote datastore that prevents the mount operation. This issue is resolved in this release.
