Guest OS customization tasks on RHEL 9.x, AlmaLinux 9.x, Rocky Linux 9.x, and Oracle Linux 9.x virtual machines write the network configuration to both NetworkManager keyfile and the deprecated ifcfg-rh profiles, and cause the NetworkManager to load mixed profiles, especially on VMs with multiple network adapters. This issue is resolved in this release. With the fix, the network configuration after a guest OS customization is located only in the NetworkManager keyfile profile at /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/VMware-customization-{NAME}.nmconnection .
