When you edit the host settings of the draft configuration for a cluster that uses vSphere Configuration Profiles, you can enter non-numeric values in a field that expects only numbers and you see no error or warning. For example, if you set non-numeric characters in the setting for syslog rotations, esx/syslog/global_settings/rotations , which expects a number, the Edit dialog box closes without an error and seems to save the value, but the setting actually keeps the previous valid value. This issue is resolved in this release.
