Known affected version(s) that were inferred because the vendor did not provide any: 7.0.3.01800
In the vSphere Client, some virtual machines might display the VMware Tools version status with the string .text appended, for example Running, version:12325.text . This issue is specific for ESXi hosts with GuestStore enabled. Due to the same issue, you might see reports in Aria Operations that certain VMs have no VMWare Tools installed. This issue is resolved in this release. The fix makes sure that in the vSphere Client you see the VMware Tools version status correctly, without the string . text appended. In Aria Operations, you might still see reports that VMs have no VMWare Tools installed, but migrating the VMs to a different ESXi host typically resolves the issue.
