When you update your vCenter system to 8.0 Update 2 from an earlier version of 8.x, if your system uses an IPv6 network without a hostname, such as PNID, and a DNS server, in the VMware Appliance Management Interface you might see an error such as Data conversion/Post install hook failed . This issue is resolved in this release.
