You can assign multiple management IP addresses to a single ESXi host and it is not necessary that all IP addresses are reachable from vCenter at any time. However, if vCenter picks a currently unreachable IP during a workflow that you run from the vSphere Client, such as a remediation precheck, the task might fail with a Host not reachable error. This issue is resolved in this release.
