In vSphere Client, when you navigate to Configure > Hardware > Overview , for some servers you do not see any asset tag listed. This issue is resolved in this release. The fix ensures that vCenter receives either baseboard info (Type2) asset tag or chassis info (Type3) asset tag for the server. You see the chassis info asset tag when the baseboard info asset tag for the server is empty.
