While checking compliance of the ESXi hosts against the lifecycle manager image, we see error similar to: Host not compatible with the image"Downgrades of manually added Components Broadcom Emulex Connectivity Division NVMe over Fabric driver for FC adapters(12.8.329.0-1), Broadcom Emulex Connectivity Division lpfc driver for FC adapters(12.8.340.12-1), Broadcom NetXtreme-E VMKAPI network and RoCE driver for VMWare ESXi(218.0.243.0-1OEM), Marvell Technology Network/iSCSI/FCoE/RDMA E4 drivers(5.0.248.0-1OEM), Mellanox Native OFED ConnectX-3 Drivers(3.19.70.1), Mellanox Native OFED ConnectX-4-5 Drivers(4.19.70.1), Network driver for Intel(R) 1 Gigabit Server NIC(igbn-1.5.1.0), QLogic Fibre Channel HBA Driver(4.1.34.0-1OEM.700.1.0.15843807), QLogic NetXtreme II 10 Gigabit Ethernet FCoE and iSCSI Drivers(3.0.139.0-1OEM) in the desired ESXi version are not supported."Note: The VIBs and their versions listed in a compliance check error will be specific to your environment and the image that you are using to check compliance
This issue occurs when the lifecycle manager image contains VIBs that have older versions than the VIBs that are currently installed on the host
To resolve this issue, Create a Lifecycle Manager image.Include VIBs in the image that have versions equal to or higher than the versions of the VIBs listed in the compliance check error. If you encounter this issue when checking compliance of an ESXi host using a VMware stock image, create a new Lifecycle Manager image that includes the VMware stock image and any necessary vendor addons.Note: Vendor addons may contain newer versions of OEM VIBs that are not included in the VMware stock image 3. Use the new image to upgrade the host
