The current Discovery.awmdm.com SSL certificate expired on August 7, 2021. This affects all supported User Environment Manager (UEM) versions.
SaaS Customers Workspace ONE UEM SaaS customers will not be impacted, as VMware’s SaaS operations team has updated the primary and backup certificates for all hosted environments. A list of all supported releases of Workspace ONE UEM and their End of General Support date can be found here. On-Premise Customers Once the certificate expires, on-premises customers running UEM versions lower than v2105 that have ‘auto-discovery SSL pinning’ enabled will be unable to perform the following: Register new email domains for auto-discoverySync SSL pinning certificates from Device Services to the Auto-discovery server
For On-premises customers you will have the option if 'auto-discovery SSL Pinning is enabled' at the Global Organization group level by navigating to the Workspace ONE UEM Console then clicking on Groups & Setting > All Settings > Admin > Cloud Services If customers wish to keep auto-discovery SSL Pinning enabled then upload the new primary certificate and new backup certificate by navigating to Groups & Settings > All Settings > Admin > Cloud Services at the Global Organization group.Alternatively, customers can opt to Disable auto-discovery SSL pinning.
