VIC Appliance console shows the message "error: unable to unmarshal ovf environment".
This issue is found when the vApp Options of the VIC Appliance VM are lost. You will find this occurs when the OVA is deployed directly to the host, as opposed to deploying to vCenter Server.
When you deploy the VIC Appliance OVA, it is recommended to deploy to a vCenter Server using the Web Client.
