The changes made in the discovery-snmp-trap.asl file have not been applied in the environment. For traps, the discovery-snmp-trap.asl file is loaded only once at the start. After that, any changes in the file will be reflected only after the Ionix IP/Smarts IP server restart or Discovery-Trap-Driver daemon restart.
To resolve this issue, you can do either of the following: Restart the Ionix IP/Smarts IP server Restart the Discovery-Trap-Driver daemon as by running the following dmctl commands: dmctl -s <server> -b <broker> invoke GA_DaemonDriver::Discovery-Trap-Driver stop dmctl -s <server> -b <broker> invoke GA_DaemonDriver::Discovery-Trap-Driver start
