While accessing the vSphere Web client if Client integration plug-in is not installed, you experience these symptoms: You are provided link to download Client integration plug-in at the vSphere Web client login page.When you click the Download Client integration Plug-in link, the download fails.
This issue occurs due to security restriction in the environment preventing downloading of files with certain extension types such as .exe.
