To enable support from Governance mode with Dell Data Domain repositories, review and implement the following: For Veeam Backup & Replication on Windows Create the following registry value on the Veeam Backup Server: Key Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\Value Name: DDBoostSkipComplianceModeCheckValue Type: DWORD (32-Bit) ValueValue Data: 1 For Veeam Software Appliance (Veeam Backup & Replication on Linux) Add the value to the configuration settings: Configuration file: /etc/veeam/veeam_backup_and_replication.confSection: [root]Setting: DDBoostSkipComplianceModeCheck=1 For more information on applying custom settings on the Veeam Storage Appliance, please review:KB4779: Applying Custom Settings to Veeam Software Appliance
Enabling this setting will cause the Veeam Security & Compliance Analyzer to display a warning for the entry "Compliance mode should be used for repositories with backup immutability enabled".
