This article documents how to change the location where Veeam Intelligent Diagnostics stores the logs it collects—allowing customers to configure both where those logs are stored temporarily on the Veeam Backup Server before being transferred to the Veeam ONE server and where those logs are stored on the Veeam ONE server.
Registry Value Behavior Explanation The same registry value can be created on either the Veeam ONE server or the Veeam Backup & Replication server, and controls where the logs that are collected from Veeam Backup & Replication are temporarily stored. When created on the Veeam ONE server, the registry value defines the path where the VID's Log Analyzer stores the logs on the Veeam ONE machine that were received from the VBR server(s). When created on the Veeam Backup & Replication server, the registry value defines where the VID's Log Analyzer stores the exported logs on the VBR server prior to sending them to the Veeam ONE server. Registry Value Details Key Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam ONE Monitor\VID\Value Name: LogAnalyzerTempFolderValue Type: String Value - [REG_SZ]Value Data (Default): C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Temp\VID\Note: The path value must end with a backslash ( \ ) symbol. Note: After applying this registry setting, you must restart the Veeam Analytics service.
