Challenge
The Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Dev team has identified an issue where Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 may skip items in a SharePoint Document Library or List when a large number of items are rapidly added, removed, and added again. For example, If a user adds 20 or more items to the SharePoint Document Library or List, removes them right away, and then adds additional items to the same Document Library or List. During the next backup job run the items that were uploaded after the initial item removal may not back up.
Solution
This issue is addressed in Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 7.0.0.3604 P20230512.
After upgrading, run a full synchronization cycle for jobs that may be affected by this issue.
Use the following PowerShell cmdlet:Replace JobName with the name of the affected job.
