After upgrading to Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 6.0 P20220524, the mailbox backup for organizations added as Hybrid or Microsoft 365 may fail with the error:
The SMTP address of a mailbox contains the ":" symbol.
HotFix Installation Instructions: Ensure you are running Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 build 6.0.0.385 (P20220524) Ensure that there are no Backup jobs or Restore sessions running. On the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 server, stop the following services: Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Veeam Backup Proxy for Microsoft 365 Download the hotfix via the button below. Extract the fix to: C:\Temp\KB4319\ After extraction, unblock the file using the following PowerShell cmdlet:
