Each time a Cisco HyperFlex Snapshot is created when a Veeam CDP storage policy filter is present, the HyperFlex snapshot creation process will change the ddb.sidecars entry within the vmdk metadata file so that it references a non-existent vmfd file.
Upgrade Cisco HX to prevent this from occuring Veeam RnD has confirmed that this issue is resolved in Cisco HX 4.5(2a) when used with vSphere 7.0 U2. Updating will prevent this issue from occurring but does not resolve it if it has happened.
