Since the release of Veeam Backup & Replication v11 , Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANA fully supports SAP HANA 1.0 SPS12 database systems.Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 Update 4 until v10a support it as "Experimental".For details on experimental support, seeKB 2976.To read the official SAP statement that Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANA is a certified backup tool for SAP HANA 1.0 and 2.0 (HANA-BRINT 1.1), see"Backint for SAP HANA" Certification.This statement is true for single database systems as well as multi-tenant database systems. SAP HANA version must be 1.0 SPS12 or later. Note that SAP HANA version must be officially supported by SAP.If you want to configure Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANA to back up SAP HANA 1.0 databases, you must perform the following additional steps (apart from instructions described in theConfiguring Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANAsection of the Veeam Plug-ins for Enterprise Applications User Guide).TheSapBackintConfigTool --wizardcommand will end with an error message "boost::filesystem::create_symlink: No such file or directory", as the configuration tool can not set the required hdbbackint symbolic link. The error occurs because the folder structure in SAP HANA 1.0 is different. To resove the issue perform the following:Go to/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/hdb/ and check if the "opt" folder exists.
