Error accessing event log on SCOM Management servers – Error 31551, 31552 in Event logs.
Starting in Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center version 8, Dataset rules are used to collect host security profiles and snapshots. When a collector is installed on an agent, no issue occurs. Data is forwarded to the management server and then written to the Data Warehouse under the Data Warehouse Account. This data is processed on Management servers under the health service run as account and fails.
Start SCOM Console, navigate to Administration > Run As configuration > Accounts, and open Properties for your Data Warehouse Action Account > Distribution. Manually add your Management Server where the Veeam collector(s) is installed. Open Profiles and double-click on Data Warehouse Account to open Run As Profile Wizard. Navigate to Run As Accounts. Click Add and select your "Data Warehouse Action Account". Then, choose the "Select class, group, or object" radio button and click Select > Object. Look for the Veeam VMware Collector object there, and select and add it. These steps are required to ensure that Run As accounts are correctly distributed to the SCOM server with a Veeam Collector role.
